Shift your Paradigm

In the past, my husband would tell me that I am bitter in my expressions and in my words while dealing with people.

Then few years ago, I stumbled upon a story.

There was a madman who was admitted to a mental hospital. In one of his mad bouts he drank a bucket of phenyl. He kept vomiting and had loose motions for 15 days. In that process, all the heat moved out of his body and miraculously, he became fine. Even though he was fine he had to complete the prescribed stay of 6 months.

This madman in his narration wrote that, till the time he was mad, he had no difficulty because all were same. When he was mad he would find it normal to deal with people who suddenly would sit on his chest, or when someone would just kick him when he walked.

When I read this story, I could see what my husband meant.

When I was operating from the prism of “this is how the ugly world is and I need to be the same to deal with them”, I was handling things bitterly.

I shifted my paradigm and started seeing beautiful things from a different plane.

My initial state was that of the madman. But when I got released from my mental asylum, it changed me.

I feel liberated now.

Change your plane of operations and change your paradigm of thinking.

Now my husband doesn’t say that I am bitter in my expressions and in my words while dealing with people.
